Intro to Watercolor

Curious about watercolors but not sure where to start? Or tried it before and found the results disappointing?  

This 5-week introductory class covers all the essentials to help you build a strong foundation for continued exploration. We’ll cover supplies, color, and foundational techniques in a supportive, hands-on environment. All materials provided so you can experiment and explore before investing in your own supplies.

Watercolor 2.0 - From First Wash to Finished Painting

Tuesdays, 1:00-3:00pm, Oct. 13, 20, 27, Nov 3, 10

You know the basics of watercolor but creating a finished painting can still feel overwhelming. Whether you’ve taken Intro to Watercolors or learned the fundamentals elsewhere, this class will help you move beyond isolated techniques to develop a confident, repeatable approach. We’ll explore a range of subjects from still life and landscapes to portraits and abstracts to help you cultivate a clear process for starting, developing and completing your paintings.

Art Explorations

Each week of this 5-week class introduces a new hands-on technique. From printing to sculpting to playing — all materials and guidance is provided. No experience needed, no supplies to buy, no pressure to be "good" at it. Just two hours to try something new, get your hands dirty, and sit down with a small, friendly group of fellow makers.

Think you can’t draw? Feeling rusty? Or mostly interested in painting and wondering whether drawing really matters? This 5-week class offers a relaxed, approachable way to explore drawing without the pressure to be perfect.

Through playful exercises, practical techniques and a variety of drawing materials (all provided) you’ll develop new ways of seeing. No previous drawing experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

Designed to build on Drawing Foundations, this class will have you creating polished, completed drawings in no time. The class continues with fun warm-ups, skill-builders and adds in time for more complex compositions and development.
